Checking out the latest People Magazine, I came across some great holiday decorating ideas… one – line your pathway with a series of clear glass or plastic bowls and puddle your light strands in each one (this will look really cool if it decides to snow this weekend like they’re forecasting).  Two – string lights from the ceiling – either the length or width of the room.  Three – take a glass decorative block (found in home improvement stores), drill a 1″ hole in the back and put a entire strand of blue or white lights inside.  Place several on your hearth creating a “winter wonderland” within your home.  Four – cluster single strands of battery-operated lights in Lucite boxes.  This makes a great substitute for the traditional candle in the guest bathroom – you can also mix in some ornaments for an added festive touch.
